Maintenance Specs for Honda Pridor

Engine oil Quantity : 700 ml

Recommended oil viscosity : 20w-40 for winter and 20w-50 for summer

Spark plug Gap : 0.6 mm - 0.7 mm

Note : 

to properly adjust spark plug gap, use feeler gauge.

and To properly install a new spark plug, follow these steps:

  1. Begin by hand-tightening the spark plug to ensure initial alignment.

  2. Using a spark plug wrench, turn the spark plug half a rotation to the right to secure it.

  3. After this initial tightening, gently loosen the plug before carefully tightening it again, this time by 1/8 of a turn or approximately 45°.

This process ensures that the spark plug gasket is properly crushed and securely seated in the head, which is essential for optimal engine performance and sealing.

By following these steps, you can effectively install a new spark plug and maintain the integrity of your engine's combustion system.

Valve Clearance : 0.05 mm ( inlet ) - 0.05 mm ( exchast )

Note : Adjust Valve Clearance on Cold engine

Clean Air filter Every :2000km or less

Note :

To effectively clean and maintain your air filter, follow these steps:

  1. Start by soaking the air filter in a solution of water mixed with dishwashing gel. This will help loosen and remove dirt and debris from the filter.

  2. Gently clean the air filter by hand, making sure to thoroughly scrub all surfaces to remove any remaining contaminants.

  3. Once the air filter appears clean, rinse it thoroughly with clean water to remove any soap residue.

  4. Use a clean towel to gently dry the air filter, removing excess moisture.

  5. Place the air filter in sunlight for approximately 4 hours, or in a dry location, for about 12 hours to allow it to completely dry.

  6. After the air filter is fully dry, apply 6 to 8 milliliters of gear oil evenly onto the air filter, ensuring that the oil is spread across the entire surface of the filter.

  7. Finally, reinstall the air filter into the air filter box, making sure it is properly seated and secured.

By following these steps, you can ensure that your air filter is thoroughly cleaned and maintained, leading to optimal engine performance and longevity.
